Double Chocolate Mug Cake
Ingredients- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg at room temperature
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/3 cup self rising flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
- Powdered sugar
- Small mixing bowl
- Whisk

Spiced Apple Mug Cake
Ingredients- 1/4 cup self rising flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 3 tablespoons applesauce
- 1 apple
- Ground cinnamon
- Cinnamon stick
- Small mixing bowl
- Whisk
- Spoon
- Rubber spatula
- Peeler
- Cutting board & knife
- 1 microwave safe mug
Expresso Mug Cake
Let's get started!
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, espresso powder, salt, and sugars.
- Whisk in egg, milk and coconut oil until smooth.
- Divide batter evenly into 2 mugs and microwave each separately on high for about 1 minute. If cake is not set, microwave in intervals of 10 seconds until fully cooked.
- Once completely cool, pipe a dollop of whipped cream in the center of each cake and then top with an espresso bean.

- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, salt, and sugars.
- Whisk egg, milk, vanilla and melted butter until smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly into 2 mugs and microwave each separately on high for about 1 minute. If cake is not set, microwave in intervals of 10 seconds until fully cooked.
- Once completely cool, dust some powdered sugar on top.

- Cut apple into cubes and measure out 2 tablespoons.
- In a small bowl, whisk together flour, sugars, spices, and salt.
- Whisk in milk and applesauce until smooth.
- Stir in cubed apples.
- Pour batter into a mug and microwave on high for about 1 minutes. If cake is not set, microwave in intervals of 10 seconds until fully cooked.
- Allow to cool slightly and then sprinkle some ground cinnamon on top. Place a cinnamon stick inside.
