Rosanna Pansino Donates 1,000 Backpacks and 750 Pencil Cases to the Long Beach Rescue Mission

Rosanna Pansino has donated 1,000 backpacks and 750 pencil cases to the Long Beach Rescue Mission, which helps support students in need in Southern California. At the time of donation, the LBRM was looking to acquire around 1,000 more backpacks to meet their yearly goal. Reaching this goal allows them to give out cash donations to other underprivileged children and families for food, clothing, and to help pay bills. "Giving back is something that has always been important to me," Rosanna says. "School supplies should never be a financial burden to anyone."

"Each year we provide backpacks to the middle schools throughout the Long Beach Unified School District. These backpacks are distributed to the students in greatest need. Many families in our community live below the poverty level and are unable to afford the school supplies their children need for school. Rosanna's gracious support allowed us to provide 1,900 backpacks to students in need! This generous gift has brought hope and encouragement to many."                                                                                                                                                                                    – Jeff Levine, Executive Director of Long Beach Rescue Mission

Rosanna has donated and volunteered her time to several different charities, some of which include Habitat for Humanity, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The Humane Society of the United States, and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
