Santa's Trash Cookies
These simple Santa's Trash Cookies have everything you could want in a cookie - sweet, salty and crunchy!
Makes 28 cookies
Things you'll need
Ingredients- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup potato chips, crushed
- 1/2 cup pretzels, crushed
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 cup white chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons red sprinkles
- 3 tablespoons green sprinkles
- Hand mixer
- Non-stick baking sheet
- Parchment paper
Let's get started!
- Preheat the oven to 375F°.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg, mix well.
- On low speed, slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.
- Fold in the potato chips, pretzels, chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Place 2 tablespoons of dough into the baking sheet 2-inches apart.
- Bake for 7 to 9 minutes.
- Let cookies cool on the tray for 1 minute.
- Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
